Author, Virgil Jones, worked and traveled in the Middle East and Lived in Beirut for a time during the fifteen years he was the Marketing Director for the International Division of an American Corporation. He kept a journal the full time and has used it to articulate his writing. He had two previously  published  books before writing the Ego, Love and Vengeance book and screenplay.

 

Screenplay, 113 page script

Maria, a gutsy American woman, is proficient in martial arts and vengeful when she returns to Beirut after her husband was mysteriously murdered. During her quest to locate her husband's unchaste former office manager, who was seen with him just prior to his death, she is forced to kill, becomes a prisoner and does not stay celibate. In the end she takes revenge, but then has difficulty overcoming the stigma of her mission.
