The Tower Uproar and the Great Planes Dazzler are sturdy and fun to fly RC model
airplanes. But keeping them out of the grass on a narrow hard surface runway is a chore.
The answer is tricycle gear. And I can detect no change in flight characteristics. An
optional modification, which places a larger gas tank over the CG, gives notable
performance improvement with a full tank and permits 20 minute flights without sweating a
dead stick landing. I have had equal success with the OS 32SX, 40LA and 46LA engines. A
46FX is not needed and is a bit heavy for this plane. Install engine fully forward on
mount for proper CG. No extra weights are needed. See the following modification drawing
