 Model T Ford To Be Featured

The 54th Annual Antique/Classic Car Parade will feature the Model T Ford in recognition of the car's 100th anniversary. Extra and special classes will be added to the Trophy and Award Categories this year to embrace what is heralded as the car of the century. The Model T has always been a major segment of the parade, accounting for 60% of the pre-1928 cars registered in 2007.

The Centennial T Party

The Model T Club of America has included the 54th Annual Antique/Classic Car Parade as a final day event of their week long celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Model T Ford. The Centennial Party Headquarters will be at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Richmond, Indiana, 35 miles north of West Hamilton. A full slate of exciting events will start Monday July 21st and end July 26th with the tour to Hamilton, Ohio and participation in the Hamilton-Fairfield Parade.

All American and foreign vehicles 1896 - 1983 in restored or original condition are eligible. No modified cars, street rods or after market wheels. Vehicles must be clean and free of advertising.

The 2008 Parade Assembly Area, at the Hamilton West Shopping Center, Main St. (Route 177) and Brookwood Ave., will be open for registration at 8:00 AM.
 

Parade Schedule

Public viewing at the 2008 Parade Assembly Area 8:00 - Noon, Judging 9:30 - 11:30,
Start your engines: 12:45, Parade starts promptly at 1:00, Stop over in Fairfield 1:45 - 2:30,
Car show in Downtown Hamilton 3:00 - 5:00, Fort Hamilton Jazz Band entertainment 3:00 - 4:00
 Award of trophies 4:00 - 5:00 at the Butler County Courthouse.
